We purchased this book for our daughter before her first birthday. At that time, she loved the illustrations and the bright colors throughout. She is now three years old, and enjoys the story, the rhythm of the rhymes, and pointing out the many different things she recognizes in the book. She has memorized her favorite silly parts from the book. I am confident that this book will be one of the firsts that she actually reads, too!
